Barn Beam Candle
This wood candle was produced from an early 1900’s Midwest barn beam. Using a broad axe and chisel fallen logs were shaped into a beam and mortise & tenon joints were carved. These were then used as the structural members of the building. You can still see the axe marks on this candle. These hand hewn beams are a testament to the settlers way of life and how much hard work and skill it took to survive on the frontier. This candle is solid oak and has a clear finish. One of a kind.
